A "Utopia" is an imagined place or state of things in which everything is perfect. The word was first used in the book Utopia (1516) by Sir Thomas More. During this unit, we are going to read about worlds that were created to be "perfect" but failed and ended up stripping citizens of choice, individuality, and freedom. |

The perfect world for me is a democratic government, meaning it is a free country, much like in the U.S. I would be a wealthy person, but I would share my wealth with people in need. I would have a Ferrari 458 Italia, and a Bertone Riva, another Italian supercar. I would model my mansion just like I like it, and I would start a charity called: Save The Africans. I would rather give than receive.
ReplyDeleteMy perfect world is for everybody to like football. I wish they all liked the Steelers. The perfect world would be cool! To have everybody like football would be cool! There would be an even cooler thing would to have floating cars.

My perfect world is full of soccer players and cute girls in bikinis. We will have airsoft battles with the surrounding utopias. They would always lose against me and the rest of Toby World it would also be full of my favorite food.
ReplyDeletethe end...................... or is it....................yeah it is..............
My utopia would include many things that don't exist today. We the people would live on planet Wahoo. Roll Tide would mean hello and bacon would grow on trees. Animals would no longer be hunted, and instead, robots would bring you your meat. Dairy Queens would be as scattered as trees and bacon Blizzards would be added to the menu. The BCS would no longer exist. Instead the top 32 teams, based on the Darren Formula, would have a playoff for the national championship. There would be no Communists. Tiny countries like Andorra would join with the biggest surrounding country. The NFL would have a minor leagues, the MFL, Mini Football League. Also, Virginia Tech would change their name to Wacko Tech. People would choose their jobs based on what they majored in college.
ReplyDeleteThat would be my perfect world.

My perfect world would be allot like the one we have today. Except for the obvious cons, like war, starvation, and global warming just for a start our world is pretty much perfect in my eyes. Our medical health care is good but we are generally fat. Our sports are good but our teams are not the best. The poverty and unemployment are a problem though.
ReplyDeleteMy perfect world is where there are no schools and you would learn everything off of the computer. People in there spare time would play sports with other people. People would choose there jobs by interviewing the company. There would be a world-wide army to defend against alien attacks. People would eat spaghtti and rice all the time. The economy would be alot like the one we have today in 2012.

my perfect world would be almost the same as tobys with the hot girls and ect. only it would not be called toby world that would be kinda creepy
ReplyDelete"Imagine no heaven it's easy if try, no hell below us, above us only sky, imagine all the people living in the world," these are the words of "Imagine" by John Lennon. Which is a song about a utopia. Imagine all of that, would that work for a utopia? In my utopia all the people would respect nature and harm it only when they had to. The government would be there only to enforce laws. There would be little money and mostly trade if wanted something and everyone would live of there land.

My perfect world would be a place where everyone played soccer and everybody on Manchester United would live there. Anyone who liked Manchester City could not live there because I hate Manchester City. My perfect world would be so awesome.
