Dear Mr. President,
ReplyDeleteIt has come to my attention that orangutans all around the United States of america have been killed. You are destroying the forests where they live, and using them for animal testing. Animal testing is completely cruel and inhumane. It should not ever be done. Think about all the poor innocent animals that are harmed in animal testing. Since we are cutting down the trees in there environment, the orangutans have nowhere to go. How would you feel if your house was burned down. What will you do about the orangutan problem.

I have chosen the tigers as my topic. They are on the endangered species list, and the Siberian tiger is basically extinct. They are mostly found in zoos. Tigers have always been my favorite animal. If we don't act now we will lose them!

I picked pollution as my topic. as I write this, the polar ice caps are melting and the hole in the ozone is just getting bigger. Be Green so our generation can live in a beautiful world as we do, Be Green to save the animals. This is something very important, and we need to do something about it.
ReplyDeleteFor my topic I have chosen the Panda Bear. The Panda Bear is an endangered species and the population is declining rapidly. In 2004, there were around 1,400 Panda Bears in the world, and now there is about 1,000 Panda Bears remaining. Most of the Pandas remaining are in captivity in zoos and other places. Pandas used to live all over Asia, but now the habitat has decreased to about 6 mountain ranges of about 1-3 square miles each. That means that Pandas now live in about 6 to 18 square miles in the entire world. There are 510,072,000 square miles on Earth. We the people of the world need to save the Pandas.
ReplyDeleteMr.President you need to say no to drilling in the Artic. One reason is that by drilling maybe the ice will break and spill the possible oil into the waters therefore the food will be posiened to much for Polar bears can't eat. The second reason is that by drilling they might create cracks and the Polar bears might fall in and drown. The third reason is swich to electric machine not oil driven machines so swich to electric cars machines and alot of other things.
ReplyDeleteI have chosen endangered species of wolves. There was a bounty put on wolves. That means that if you killed a wolf you would be paid. The american people then hunted the wolves almost extinction. Then they were deliberately infected with a skin disease to kill them. At one point, they where burned alive.
ReplyDeleteMr President, my topic is the endangered species of mule deer. The mule deers habitat in northwestern Colorado's Piceance Basin is currently being considered for oil and tar sands development. Mule deers populations are decreasing across much of the west, and without protection for their remaining habitat, the numbers of the mule deer will continue to fall. Right now, the Bureau of Land Management is calling for public input on their draft plan for oil and tar sands development. This plan could open 2 million acres of public lands and mule deer habitats for oil and tar sand development. Please help the mule deer.

When I said ''This plan could open 2 million acres of public lands and mule deer habitats for oil and tar sands development'' I meant ''This plan could open 2 million acres made on public lands and mule deer habitats for oil and tar sands development''.

For my topic I have chosen to study the american bison or plains bison. There used to be a population of about 160,000 american bison but now there is only about 550. National park services tried to repopulate these animals but when they placed them hunters killed them within weeks. The american bison is a very special animal and I think we should protect it.

For my environmental project, I am choosing the Florida Panther.
ReplyDeleteThis majestic cat has only 100 of its kind but it was even lower in the
1990's, there were 20 left. The Florida Panther lives on the most
Southern tip of Florida. So that is why I am choosing the Florida
Panther for my environmental project.
