Favorite Book of the School Year (Due Friday, April 27th!)
What's your favorite book that you have read this year, inside or outside of the classroom? Why did you like it? What other sorts of readers do you think would enjoy the book? Remember, your post should be at least 5-7 sentences!
My favorite book that I have read this year would be the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I read the book outside of school. I liked it because of the suspense and action of the book. I also liked how Collins put chapter breaks right in the middle of a very pivotal scene. The book got me hooked and I could not put it down. I think that the book appeals to lots of people. The book has mysteries, romance and lots of suspense.
My favorite books that I have read are the Rangers Apprentice series by Jhon Flanagan. The books take place in midevil times. They are about a boy named Will who is chosen to be the Apprentice of a ranger (an elite group of highly trained soldiers). I think thier are 8 books in the series, I am reading book 5 but I skiped book 4. It is a great series and if you haven't red it yet I definrtly recomend it.
My favorite book would have to be one of Margret Petersons books. She has alot of books out right now but there is one book called shadow children. She wrote 7 series to go along with it. i am on book 6 out of 7.
My favorite book this year is probably the Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. I really like the plot. the other books in the series are just as good. The characters are also really good. Peeta is my favorite character.
My favorite book of the school year is......The Giver I liked the plot and the book up to the end were the last words were "but he thought it was just an echo".I was addicted to that book I finished a week before everybody else.I would also suggest reading messenger and gathering blue.
My favorite book I have read this school year is definitely the Hunger Games. I liked this book because it was really intense and action packed. I found the book really hard to put down, and read it very quickly. My favorite part was when it was just Katniss, Peeta, and Cato left. I would definitely recomend this book to another reader.
the best book iv ever read is probably the hunger games. the book was very engaging and exciting and every time i read it, i looked forward to finishing the next chapter. although it was a great book, it was also the only one i read this year so it was the best book i read in 2012
My favorite book I have read this year is probably Incarceron. The reason I enjoyed this book is because I like the concept of a living prison that could create things and people. If anyone is looking for a book, this is a great choice.
The Last Olympian. Believe it or not, I had never read the Percy Jackson series before this year. Daniel told me that the plot for The Heroes Of Olympus was based of Percy Jackson, and I had read both The Lost Hero and The Son Of Neptune, I decided to start. All the Jackson books were excellent, and I had to curl up with some tea and the Jackson book if it was a storm day on the weekend, and after school. I have to say the last one was the best, because it was the most action, and they battle the Titans, basically to the death. James
My favorite book is the Red Pyramid. I haven't complety read the seris of it yet. My friend Harrison Marshall told me about this seris. Because I like other books from this author, I decided to read the seris for myself. There are two books in the seris but Rick Riordan keeps coming out with new books.
